The Commodores are an American funk/soul band of the 1970s and 1980s. The members of the group met as freshmen at Tuskegee Institute (now Tuskegee University) in 1968, and signed with Motown in November 1972, having first caught the public eye opening for The Jackson 5 while on tour.

Il gruppo "Sharada" nasce nel luglio 2003 dalla fusione di 5 musicisti con esperienza decennale nell'underground musicale pugliese. Partecipano alla 4° edizione del concorso musicale Your Sound tenutosi a Mesagne (Br) classificandosi al 1° posto come miglior band e ricevono il premio per il migliore arrangiamento. Partecipano successivamente al II° South Cheyenne Festival, organizzato dagli Indian Bikers MC, vincendo il 1° premio come migliore band rock e suonano così da spalla alla cover band ufficiale dei Kiss (Kiss Electric Circus). Partecipano al concorso per gruppi emergenti "Emergenza" vincendo le selezioni della provincia di Taranto come miglior band.

Scotch was an Italo-disco group during the 1980s, consisting of members Vince Lancini (vocals) and Fabio Margutti (keyboards), joined by Franz Rome (keyboards, programming) for the second album Pictures Of Old Days.
The band had numerous hits, including Take Me Up, Mirage, Delirio Mind, Penguin's Invasion, Plus Plus and Money Runner. The group's single Disco Band (1985) was a major hit in Germany and was sampled on Scooter's 2007 hit single Lass Uns Tanzen, and their song Penguin's Invasion continues to be popular, appearing on various Italo-disco compilations and retrospectives
